This is something which I have said several times in the artist's comment, but I just want to make sure that everyone knows about this. Basically, I am not going to be doing the full book of Into The Wild for my Warriors comic.
This is for several reasons. Mainly because, let's face it, at the rate I'm going by the time I will be in university by the time I finish the whole book. By that stage my style will have evolved and (hopefully) improved so much that the last few pages will be starkly different to the first few. Then I'd have to go about re-doing them etc..something which I'm not prepared to do. Also, working on a comic is very hard work. I understand that now and have great respect for comic artists who have stuck firmly beside their comic for a long period of time, and to be honest Warriors is not even my own creation, this is just a fan based thing. Therefore I don't see the point in channeling so much of my time and effort into something which will, in the end, not really result in anything.
However, I am NOT giving up. Please no one think that this is what I'm trying to say here Basically, I've set my target a little lower and will stop the comic once I get into the first couple of chapters. I already know where I will stop, and although it will be sad because the story seems unfinished, I know it's for the best. So in the end the comic will probably be about 30 pages in total. I don't really want to go much higher than that.
If anyone is angry at me or whatever for posting this, well why don't you go ahead and try to put a whole book into pictures yourself, be my guest. I think this time last year I didn't really grasp how grand a project this would be for me, but now of course I do. Think of this comic as a sort of practice for me; hopefully by the time I've finished it I will fully understand how comics work and how to go about making them, so that if I ever want to create my own comic I will know how.

I just came back from seeing Avatar at the cinema. It was sooo good! I mean, I'm normally not in to sci-fi but this was just magical. The world of Pandora was living and breathing, and some of the ideas for species and plants they came up with..it was really different to anything I've ever seen before. The colours were super stunning as well, especially in 3D. Alright so the plot may have been a bit predictable but that's cast aside when you look at the visual effects of the whole thing. Anyway I really loved it, if you're thinking of going to see it then definitely do so, you won't be disappointed! Maybe I'll even try doing it some fan art one day..
Has anyone else been to see it?

This'll probably be my last journal post before Christmas so I hope you guys have a good one! :3 I feel bad for not drawing anything yet but I feel a bit weighed down by work and things to draw lately. I'm trying to relax over Christmas but I need to get the rest of these Mweor commissions finished first..I'll feel better when these are done

Oh yeah, I've also been getting my teeth into The Fourth Apprentice recently! It's very good so far, I'm about half way through

Yes we got snow today 8DD
It didn't settle but oh well. Lol I was in English when the first flakes started coming down and everyone was like "OMG SNOW", it's still a novelty for us over here xD
It's hardly surprising though, it's been freezing outside lately. The sky's really cloudy right now too so I'm hoping there'll be more..maybe if it snows tonight we'll be able to miss the post mock program activites tomorrow! Wouldn't that be great. Lol at my school's idea of fun: learning about knife crime and then 'exploring relationships', and then two hours of doing surival techniques OUTSIDE with the army and apparently we're going to be gutting a mackrel. LMAO no
Friday we're going bowling but I'm not really bothered. I sort of fail at bowling and it will be harder with a dud arm (had the second HPV jab today and it aches :c not as bad as last time but maybe it'll get worse).

I just checked the weather and it says there's a high risk of snow on Friday ^-^ C'mon snow! Wouldn't it be great if we had a white christmas? Actually I'd rather if it didn't snow tomorrow as I need to clean out the guineas D8 lol

Can't think of anything to do now, I don't really feel like drawing kittehs of late. :/

it seems that finally i am feeling the brunt of the infamous year 11 coursework. there's just so much u_u
art is what i'm most concerned about, i stayed for an hour and a half after school today painting my third coursework piece but i got distracted by talking to someone and i just generally fail painting/drawing wise. so i really need to practice drawing a face because i spent a good deal of the time trying to draw one and it was crap. and i'm gonna have to stay for a further 2 hours after school tomorrow and probably come back at lunchtime too..
at least im going to a carol concert in the cathederal later, that should be relaxing. i can't wait to sing Israel <3

This is just an update about..life or something idk ;A;
Gosh this week has flown. But it also..hasn't if you know how I mean |D time is so weird like that.

FFFFFFFFUUUU I have so much art to do over this weekend. We've had 3 lessons so far to do a exam/coursework piece..naturally I've spent way too long on one bit and so had to take it home. I met someone from the other art group today who werent allowed to take it home and he was like "TEH FOOK THATS CHEATING >C". It's pretty awkward carrying a massive sheet of A3 on the bus along with bag, bus pass, PE kit, art book etc. My theme is about how women are treated, specifically in Muslim society..and my painting really sucks so far. I couldn't even paint the shine on the hair right and I LOVE that part. Plus the hands/arms look weird >3> and almost everyone who has looked at it so far has pointed that out so I'm like great yeah. So yuhh maybe I'll upload it when I'm finished. Will have to take a picture though, its so huge.

And I've been working on creating a new chara :'3 not a fursona as such but...I kind of have to come up with some background about her but I really like her so far (: I'm about to start lining the picture now, just because I needed a break. Also working on your subby prize *Silent-Silver-Neko ^-^

God my eyes hurt. i'm so tired I could like cry I don't know why but I haven't been sleeping that well lately and it really shows because I have such pale skin *HAAAAAAATEEE* someone actually asked me today in drama if I'd been crying because my eyes were so red xD

Haha yeah. I forgot what I was updating about. u_u......oshi keep thinking about all the art I have to do.
